The guided tours at Freixenet begin with a brief audiovisual presentation of the history of a family business. This is followed by a visit to the old part of the cellars, built in 1922. Here, the house guides will personally explain the process of cava production and will give advice on serving and drinking this sparkling beverage. Visitors will board a small train to travel through part of the 20 km of underground cava cellars. At the end of this journey, visitors arrive at the tasting room where they can taste the different cavas of the Freixenet range. The visit finishes at the Dolores Ferrer store where visitors will have the chance to acquire many articles relating to the world of cava and wine.
