Full day excursion to The Penedes (45minutes from Barcelona): The Penedes region has long been the largest wine region in Catalonia, and it is also Cava country, a great example of both tradition and modernity.

 

Prices:

Minimum of 2 people: 340 euros per person

Minimum of 4 people: 220 euros per person

Minimum of 5 people: 170 euros per person

Clients will be collected at their Barcelona hotel around 09.30. Day will consist on visiting two highly-renowned wineries (masias) in the small towns of Sant Pau de Ordal and Avinyonet del Penedes. These masias, or traditional Catalan farmsteads, are surrounded by vineyards and unspoilt countryside at the foothills of the Garraf mountain range, which is a spectacular experience in its own right. We will enjoy a visit and a private tasting led by oenologists from the house in both wine cellars.  

At lunchtime we will head towards Sant Sadurni de Anoia, capital of the Cava region, to enjoy a traditional Catalan cuisine at one the best  Restaurants in Sant Sadurní de Anoia . After lunch our return to Barcelona is scheduled around 5:30pm.
