Balloon ride

The activity starts at dawn with the picking up of the passengers at the meeting point. Then, the passengers have the opportunity to help during the preparation of the flight: the setting and inflation of the balloon. When the balloon is up, we take off for a ride which will last more than an hour. The wind is the master of our way up the Catalonian landscapes. The landing marks the end of our ride. The “rescue team” comes to collect the balloon. We then celebrate the flight at the landing spot with a Cava toast and a surprising special brunch. Passengers will eventually receive a first flight certificate signed by the pilot.
We invite you to experience the adventure in the Vallès Oriental, at only 30 minutes away from Barcelona. Taking off in Cardedeu, you will discover from the air amazing panoramas and landscapes, flying over unique points of interest in the Montseny Natural Park region. On a clear day (and we have many of those), you will have the opportunity to admire the Montserrat Picks, Barcelona itself and the Mediterranean sea...
The Discovery Balloon ride:With the discovery balloon ride, you share the flight with a maximum of 8 people in the basket. You live the adventure in family, friends or others passengers. The basket is big enough to make you feel at ease and totally secure. It is the ideal option for a first hot-air balloon flight, with a good price. (Ask us about special prices if you are reserving for more than 1 person)
The Private/VIP ballon ride: This option allows you to enjoy the flight with more intimacy. Flying alone, in couple or in a group of until 8 people, the balloon is completely yours. Being only 2 passengers in the basket will give you the opportunity to be taught by the pilot the basis of how to pilot a hot-air balloon and eventually the opportunity to pilot it yourself for a while. In that case, you will fly in a small-sized balloon, the kind of balloon used in competition, much more agile and dynamic than a normal passenger balloon. Guaranteed sensations!
Useful informations
Flying season : In Catalonia, it is possible to fly equally during summer or winter. In fact, flying in winter offers some interesting advantages for the passengers: the weather is generally more stable what allows a longer flight and you can get up later as dawn takes place later in the morning.
Good weather conditions for a good flight : hot-air Ballooning is an activity directly linked with the weather conditions. To ensure the flight, we absolutely need to have weak winds (less than 20 kmph) and no rain. In case of unsuitable weather conditions we would postpone the flight to another day.
Restrictions : a hot-air balloon ride is a very safe activity but in order for our passengers to avoid running any risk, we advise pregnant women and children under 6 not to fly.
Option : Pick-up at your hotel in Barcelona :
For a better service, we offer a pick-up and transfer in 4x4 from Barcelona to the launchfield. Otherwise, if you want, you can go directly by your own to the meeting point close to the launchfield.
In some particular cases, we can pick you up out from Barcelona. Don’t hesitate to ask us when booking the activity.
